Color rules under review
Positive = green. Credit on file on any of the three columns.
$0.00 = gray. Nothing on file, nothing accruing, nothing due.
Negative Member Balance = amber. House charges accruing this cycle. Transfers to Invoice Balance at statement, so it is not yet “due” and should not read as past due.
Negative Invoice Balance or Customer Credit = red. Money actually owed back to the course/club.
Negatives display as -$400.00, not $-400.00.
Accessibility (WCAG 1.4.1). Hue is never the only difference. Accruing carries an hourglass and a dashed outline; due carries an alert icon and a solid outline. Column header plus the minus sign still tell the story with color removed, and each pill exposes its state to screen readers.
$650.00 Credit on file$0.00 Nothing on file-$400.00 Accruing this cycle (Member Balance)-$400.00 Due to the courseMember Balance is the current-cycle house account. It becomes due only after the statement moves it to Invoice Balance. The icon and outline style, not the color, are what separate accruing from due.
